Generally i dont write a review within a week of buying earphones, but the experience of C 5 S2 has forced me to pen down this review. I own all types of headphones - in the ear, on the ear, and over the ear. Have owned shure, bose, ATH, klipsch, v moda and B&W. For in the ear headphones B&W C5 S2 are the best for my taste. They have the right amount of bass, clear mids and crisp highs. Shure se 425 on the other hand have clear mids and ultra crips highs but the lack the bass. Other brands are not worth compairing. Some reviews had issues with the infinite loop, they found it extremely uncomfortable. For me C5 S2 were ultra comfortable also u can wear them like shure i.e. u can remove the loop so thats a big positive. Secondly the built quality is awsome, its all high grade metal in the ear piece. The cords look a bit fragile but i pray that they last long. The carry bag is of high quality and will protect the ear phones. The sound isolation is equal if not better than shure. The most striking feature is the sound stage - u feel like u r listining to on the ear if not over the ear headphones. I think i have said enough - listen and u will see.

I wanted to have an audiophile quality in-ears headphones from a very long time to enjoy FLAC quality music. Ordered this B & W c5 s2 in ear headphones after doing a lot of research. They are just amazing. I tried to find these headphones in New Delhi but I could not find it anywhere. Amazon had these in stocks and they delivered them very fast. They are best rated headphones in 2015 in the same price category according to CNET.
Build :
Build quality is good. They have used secure loop concept and I love it it provides a very good fit in ears. I always preferred in ears over big chunky headphone because of their comfort.
Sound Quality :
Now I have to admit I have never heard so pure sounding earphones. They have very good quality drivers which they have recently updated . Sound quality is top notch. There is huge amount of clarity in its sound and has great bass response. Mids were also sounding great in it. If you play jazz or acoustic on it its like you would discover so much details that a normal earphone fails to give. I also tried the Bose QuietComfort® 20i Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones as I believed that they were the best but B & W killed them in sound quality. Clarity is superb. 5 out of 5 for sound quality.
Noise cancellation :
With the help of secure loop it provides a good sound cancellation. I did not expected the sound cancellation to be so good. 4 out 5 for sound cancellation.
Durability:
The only drawback it has is the question on its durability because when I researched reviews only problem I found was, the users were complaining about its durability. These earphones should be used with care. I have brought mine lets see how long will these last. so on durability 3 out 5.
Value:
Yes there are quite expensive but if you are looking for audiophile quality and want the best go for it. Its is made for purist. I found these earphones worth the price. Apart from the question on its durability they are amazing but I believe if you handle them with care they might last long do not use them for gym. Yes you will also recieve a pouch to carry and you will get 3 months subscription of Society of Sound Music where you will get FLAC quality albums downloads on the B & W website.
