Great sound. Great value for the money. Had a previous pair of Sennheiser in-ear and they were great as well. The previous pair failed when the wire broke internally near the headphone jack. This pair has a different design that appears has solve that problem. The in-ear design is also different and would be better if the rubber in-ear pieces were as comfortable as the old ones. That is why I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars. The CX 3.00 only has two options tip options (previous had 4) and they are both "harder" rubber than the previous version. As a result, they are not nearly as comfortable, tend to fall out, and are do not block noise. I purchased a set of Comply Foam Tips as a replacement. I like them, but wonder why I had to buy more tips to get the same fit I had in the old headphones. they changed to harder tips

These are one of the best earbuds I have ever bought. If you are considering buying these, don't wait another second just get them and you will be impressed. The bass is very balanced and the sound quality sounds great. These could easily stack up against earbuds in the $80-$100 range. The other good thing is that they don't tangle or have the annoying sound whenever you hit the wire. Also they come with a 2 year warranty, so they'll send you a brand new one if they break. The person who said they have no bass doesn't know what they are talking about because these do have very good bass. Not too much that it will take away from the other music though. The quality is definitely a big part of these too. The wire doesn't feel like it's about to snap in half or that the plastic will break. If you have any hesitation don't because these will surely impress you.
