Worth the money
I have both 450ap and 550ap from Sony . Comparing both , 550ap is the better option. Bass effects are really good. The best headphones in this price range. I can vouch for it
Best Headphone in this Range
I bought blue one. I don't know the pros and cons. But i will write what my experience is
1.The mdr xb550 ap is loud enough specially design for Bass volume .
2.Noice cancellation not supported.
3..Bass is pretty good.
4.There is not a single distortion even in highest volume, in fact I felt like the music quality is improving when volume is increased.
5.It fits well in my ears and cushion is very good.
6. Quality is Best in this range.

using mi enhancer and using equalizer inbuilt at HIP-HOP & Mi comfort (Headphone setting).
I bet no other headphones can compete with this giant ..Bass at these settings.
Build quality:1) Wires durable for long time.Are flat or serrated,rigid , direct-cups attachment for wire protection.
2)Blue matte earcups looks like pro.
3)swivel design just awesome.
4)comfy ...for long hours .
5)L-shaped with gold coated jack for seamless transfer rate.
6)Sound volume perfect for ears .won't damage your ears with that notch bass quality.
*these headphone are "STEREO QUALITY" ,so don't expect loudness or high volume coz these provide minimal/perfect volume with high bass with existing quality /doesn't give cracking music with crappy sound like other headphone in market .
